At
the age of 17,Keith Bailey got his first 4x4,a
1976 CJ. Born and raised in Gardendale, Alabama,
Keith rode the trails of Gardendale and Mt. Olive
learning not only how to drive the trails but how
to work on his Jeep. In 1984 he bought a 84 CJ7
from Jim Skinner and with friends, Keith would and
ride the local trails, some that are around to
this day. Later, to make things more exciting, the
group would cut down trees and clear their own
paths.
In 1990 Keith began to buy used Jeeps to part out
and ended up with the foundation of what would
become in 1992, The Jeep Connection. With his home
town service and expert knowledge of off-roading,
business took off. With a name change to The
Off-Road Connection, Keith quit his job of 12
years and turned his hobby into a full time
profession. In 1996 The Off-Road Connection moved

Fultondale
where it is located today and delivers the same
quality home town service that has made Keith one
of the most well known and respected members of
his industry in Alabama as well as the South East.
Keith, with the support from Debbie, his wife of
ten years, and his five year old daughter Karsen,
has become an integral part of the off-roading
sport. Involved with many of the activities at Gray
Rock ORV and a supporter of local 4x4 clubs,
Keith is the first and only person many go to for
their Off-Road Connection.
